In anticipation of the proposed reforms and legislation changes, Medisure / Mediprotect has sourced a product that been developed to allow Midwives the choice to enter into private practice and still fulfil their registration requirements with an affordable Professional Indemnity product.
The policy will cover activities such as, the provision care and education services, but will exclude birthing. Midwives will be able to choose between two categories for their activities.
Professional Services Description (available categories):
Category A: The provision of antenatal and postnatal care and education services.
Category B: The provision of antenatal and postnatal education only

Health Professionals Insurance Online is an online system managed by Medisure Indemnity Australia allowing Midwives, Nurses and Allied Health to obtain quotes, purchase cover and manage their policies online, all with ease and at a time that is convenient to them.
