Email Mike

Mike founded Mediprotect in 1999 after many, many years experience in the insurance industry.

His previous roles have included numerous positions at AXA, Wes Farmers and Federation Insurance.

Mike enjoys keeping his ‘hand in’ and specialises in the Divisions of General Practice Network Insurance program and the larger corporates.

It is fair to say that Mike is passionate about Mediprotect and sets the highest standards when it comes to customer service.

Outside of work, Mike likes to spend time in his garden, ‘tinkering’ with his latest project car and watching Rugby League.  He is an avid motor racing fan.

Email Caroline

Caroline joined Mediprotect in 2004 as a Marketing consultant.  At that time she was based in Cairns. 

After coming on board permanently the Cairns office was established and managed by Caroline.

As technology has increased and changed the way we do business Caroline and her team have now relocated to Brisbane permanently.

Caroline holds a Diploma in Financial Services and is one of Mediprotect Responsible Officers. 

She is the ‘driver’ behind our marketing and sales teams, but still enjoys client contact with quite a few “favourite” or executive clients.

When she is not working, her interests included: reading, shopping for anything, motor sports and going to the Gym.  Her passion is:  “a good cup of coffee” and shoes.

Email Bill

Bill is Mediprotect’s longest standing employee having first joined the company at it’s inception in 1999.

Having worked in QLD, NSW and Papua New Guinea his experience is extensive in the many areas of the insurance industry; including sales, underwriting, claims and reinsurance.

Bill doubles as one of our Responsible Officers and our Safety Officer.

Bill’s large portfolio is predominately retail.  He enjoys working with professionals in the healthcare profession, referring to them as “low maintenance and sensible”.

In his spare time, Bill likes to relax.  His passion is travelling.

Email David

Dave joined Mediprotect in 2005 after a stint in the banking industry. 

He is currently completing his Diploma in Financial Services and is Tier One Compliant.

Dave’s portfolio consists of a wide variety of risks.

He is also our “Entertainment Director” and runs the Mediprotect Football Tipping competition.

Dave’s personal interest include: watching and supporting just about any sport, but his passion is - playing and / or watching Soccer.

Email Nick

Nick joined the company in 2008 and holds a Financial Services Diploma in Insurance Broking.

He is responsible for servicing NSW. 

He has extensive experience in a wide variety of risks, including rural and regional property, farms and commercial operations.

Nick enjoys kite surfing, fishing and hanging out at the gym in his spare time.

Email Andrew

Andrew holds a Diploma of Financial Services and joined Mediprotect in 2008. 

With 10 years experience in the insurance broking industry, Andrew’s knowledge and expertise is a valuable asset.

Andrew’s portfolio varies from retail and domestic to large corporates.

Andrew’s personal interests include: most sports and socializing with friends. 

Email John

John joined the company in 2006.  He holds several qualifications in Computing and IT.  He is also Tier 1 Compliant and is currently completing his Diploma in Financial Services.

On occasions Mediprotect utilise his IT skills as an advisor on internal IT issues.

John’s portfolio varies, predominately though; he specializes in individual Medical Indemnity and PI policies.

John enjoys being able to work with and advise professionals on their personal insurance needs - simplifying the complicated process of insurance.

His personal interests include: Martial Arts, Electronics, Reading, Listening to “Jazz and Blues” and computer programming.

Email Juan

Juan joined the company in 2007 as a trainee after deciding to take a break from his Psychology Degree. 

He is finishing his Financial Services Diploma after recently being Tier One compliant.

Juan assists Mike Sullivan with the Division of General Practice portfolio.

Juan likes to build a good relationship with his clients.  He understands that each individual has different needs and enjoys the challenges they set for him.

In his spare time, Juan enjoys Martial Arts, spending time with his family and friends and all sports.  His passion is ‘anything chocolate’.

Email Shoko

Shoko is our latest addition.  Her role is to assist the Sales and Operation Manager and support the sales team. 

Shoko also lends her hand to the Marketing team.

On weekends, Shoko likes to spend time with her friends and family.   She enjoys retail therapy, cooking and doting on her dog.   

Email Erin

Erin is our latest edition to the team.  She holds a Financial Services Diploma in Insurance Broking.

Her role is to support and assist the sales team.

Erin recently decided to settle in Brisbane after travelling around Australia.

She is a great supporter of AFL and when she is not hanging out with friends she enjoys exploring the great outdoors.

Email Noelene

Noelene is Mediprotect’s Compliance Officer and support to the sales team.

Noelene joined the company full-time in 2005.

Her interests include: bike riding, reading, snapping photos and travelling.

Email Liza

Liza heads our Finance and Accounts Team.  She joined Mediprotect is 2005 and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is currently completing her CPA.

Liza enjoys the variety of work offered to her at Mediprotect and when she is not crunching numbers she likes to catch a movie with friends.

Email Karen

Karen joined Mediprotect in 2008 and has a long history in the Finance Industry.

Karen’s role is to assist in the financial and administration management of Mediprotect.

On her time off, Karen spends her weekend boating with her husband and family.
